International Youth Centre building represents a reconstructed former cinema. Reconstruction includes formation of three multifunctional study halls, a conference hall for 50 people equipped with simultaneous interpretation booths, a dining hall for 35 people with catering service and 10 bedrooms for a different number of visitors (2 to 4 people) with separate sanitary facilities. On the 1st floor are located: a conference hall, a multifunctional study hall, a dining hall, 4 bedrooms for 2 to 4 people, 2 events venue halls and two entrances – main and emergency one. To provide an accessible environment an electrically operated inclined lifting platform is installed on the double-arched staircase connecting the two floors. On the On the 2nd floor are located: 3 multifunctional study halls and 6 bedrooms for 2 to 4 visitors. Within Project BGLD – 1.003 – 0003 “International Youth Centre – Think Locally, Act Globally“, under under the Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups Program, reconstruction and furnishing of one multifunctional study hall located close to the International Youth Centre building is planned.
